Town of Waterloo

The town of Waterloo is located 12 miles south of Laurens and covers 1.4 square miles of Laurens County. The town was incorporated on December 4, 1885. The small community offers many outdoor sporting and recreational activities. Rosemont, the family plantation of Ann Pamela Cunningham, the leader in the effort to save President George Washington’s home in Mount Vernon, Va., is located near the community. Waterloo is governed by a Mayor/Council form of government.
