Sneak Peek: The New Laurens County Ag Center

Laurens County’s brand-new $7 million Agricultural Center is almost ready to open its doors—and when it does, folks are going to be blown away. One of the first things you’ll notice? The beautiful, tough-as-nails floors created by Zachary Daniel Concrete.

Zach Wiley, who’s based just up the road in Greenville County, was trusted with finishing the floors in this huge community space—and he delivered in a big way.

“We used a saddle brown stain in the main event center,” Zach says. “It’s on-brand for agricultural events, but still looks great for weddings or business retreats. You can decorate around it without it clashing. Just a perfect, earthy tone.”

But this wasn’t just about looks. Zach knew the floors needed to stand up to everything from livestock to line dancing. So he applied an epoxy coating and topped it off with high-wear urethane—giving it serious resistance to scratches, spills, and even hooves.

“It’s industrial-grade protection,” he explains. “It’ll handle chemical exposure, foot traffic to hoof traffic, or a skid steer drag race - without breaking a sweat.”

In the bathrooms and foyers, his team finished things off with solid color epoxy and 20–30% flake coverage. The result? A clean, professional look that’s easy to maintain and welcoming from the second you step inside.

“That flake gives a nice texture and sparkle,” says Zach. “It’s a subtle ‘wow’ before you walk into the main room and get absolutely floored—no pun intended.”

This project is a big deal for Laurens County—and it’s great to see local pros like Zachary Daniel Concrete helping bring it to life. Keep an eye out for the grand opening of the Ag Center. When the doors open, take a second to look down—you’ll see work that’s built to last and proudly finished by a neighbor just up the road.
